Below is a message from Sandra Poulton, Manager Road Safety SEQS, Department of Transport and Main Roads

Yellow Ribbon Week 8-14 May 2017
Yellow Ribbon Week is your opportunity to say thank you to our School Crossing Supervisors.
School Crossing Supervisors have an extremely important role in our community - to promote road safety among young children and educate them on how to use a supervised crossing.
School Crossing Supervisors play a vital role in keeping our children safe. They improve the safety of travel to and from school for students in the city, regional and remote areas, with children as they walk, cycle or travel by bus or car to school.
In hot, cold or wet weather you will always see the supervisors on the crossing, ensuring children’s safety.
Supervised crossings are an important part of Transport and Main Roads’ road safety program with the school crossing supervisors the unsung heroes of school road safety.
This week is Yellow Ribbon Road Safety Week when we say thank you to those who assist us on the roads and help us stay safe. So, thank you to all our school crossing supervisors. Your commitment to road safety is invaluable to our community.

Guitar & Drum Lessons at our school!!!

The Virtuoso Guitar School has recently created a guitar program at Salisbury State School and we are currently looking for more students to join our virtuoso family.

Our aim is to enable students to be proficient guitarists in both classical and contemporary genres, sit AMEB examinations, understand music theory and most importantly, enjoy playing this wonderful instrument!

If you would like to enrol your child to learn the guitar, please complete and return the enrolment form below to the administration office as soon as possible to ensure your child’s place in the program.

If you have any questions or queries about the program, email us at virtuosoguitarschool@gmail.com.

We look forward to a great term of music making!
Kind Regards,  Virtuoso Music School Team
