Computers and technology

All computers are under the 4 year age limit and are replaced after that age limit
has been reached. There is a computer lab in our new resource centre for class lessons and there are 2 computers in every classroom, which more than meets the standard of a 4 to 1 ratio required for schools by Education Queensland. Every computer in the school is connected to a network which allows for high security policies to be applied from the moment a student logs in. This allows for restrictions to be applied to each computer so that students are not able to inappropriately access system files of the computer.

Interactive whiteboards in every classroom have provided teachers with access to a multitude of on-line resources including those in the new National Curriculum (known as C2C in Queensland).

The school has a high speed connection managed by the Department's Managed Internet Service(MIS) allowing for supervised internet searches during lesson times. Students' internet use is regularly monitored and classroom computer use is supervised.
